Classical Luxury on a Hillside Meadow

Classical Luxury on a Hillside Meadow

Uplifting and serene, this design combines classical design with native plantings to create a biodynamic property. Formal plantings and cream stone amenities were used close to the house which transition to informal plantings at the farther reaches of the property. The entry allee is a hardy selection of elm trees paired with a native hedge to give an entry experience similar to a country road in England and doubles as a food and shelter source for songbirds. A native meadow of dozens of wildflowers was planted on the hillside and hosts many species of beneficial insects and butterflies including the endangered mason bee. Native plantings such as these make it possible to maintain this property organically.

“I have personally worked with her on twenty beautiful, creative residential projects, each one being just as nice if not better than the previous one.”
