Many of us are discovering the joy of being outside even in colder temperatures this year. Looking for new ways to enjoy the outdoors and stay healthy, I started designing a new addition to my landscape: the winter wellness zone. Low and behold, a number of my clients started asking for similar amenities: outdoor saunas, hot tubs, and winter cold plunging pools. A new trend was born and I am thrilled to be designing several winter wellness zones. Each design is specifically customized for each client but I thought I would share a few of essential elements that every winter wellness zone should have.
